Hi, I was running FW-1 4.1 and did the upgrade to NG, but ran into issues with stability and problems with our WebSense filtering. I found the best thing to do was back up my conf directory, wipe my firewall, and install from scratch, (using FeaturePack-1), then restore my objects and rules. I have found NG to be very stable now, and things that weren't working before, (VPN was set up textbook, but would not work), now work flawlessly. This is just my experience, and it may not happen to you if you upgrade. Our sales person says we should get Floodgate, etc., now, install them, then upgrade to NG later. While this has its appeal, it would seem that upgrading to NG first would be more "intuitive", since one would have to address potential compatibility problems only once. Could any of you who have upgraded to NG relate your experiences and you fared when the upgrade was done, whether you had the add-ons before or after the upgrade to NG?
