I read this resolution a couple of weeks ago, but haven't yet got round
to implementing it.  It sounds like I have a similar setup to you. managing
multiple Nokia appliances from a Windows management station.  I was hoping
that this solution would allow me to send my firewall logs to a syslog
server as I find a grep on the logs much more useful than the checkpoint
log viewer.  Indeed, I have been disappointed by the lack of direct syslog
support in FW-1, as it would help tie up logs from various different
services into one common point, thus making it easier to tie up and trace
transactions.
