Brian,
The
FTP drops may be down to a change in the way FW-1 handles FTP from SP3 upwards.
Pre-SP3, the connection would be entered into the state table at the end of the
three way handshake. From SP3, the connection is only entered into the state
table when it receives the first data packet. This could account for the FTP
drops, if the time between the end of the three way handshake and the first data
packet is too big.
Checkpoint have a way to revert this back to the original behaviour,
although I would suggest going through their tech support.
I'm
running SP5 at the moment and have not had any problems thus
far.
regards,
simon
All,
Has anyone had any problems
with CP 4.1 SP5 + Plus RDP Hotfix on Nokia 650s? We're seeing some
random FTP drops. And we're having sporatic reports of users not being
able to open citrix applications. So far we've deleted the ICA service
and recreated it and that appears to have fixed the problem. But I'm
looking for good/bad experiences people have had with SP5 - we're actually
thinking of going back to SP2..HELP!
Thanks
BDF
