Problem seems to be solved. Somehow it had something to
do with the 4.0 licenses.
I
removed the 4.1 installation, removed 4.0. Reinstalled 4.0 with the correct
licenses and then upgraded again to 4.1. After this everything came up like a
charm....
Still
seems weird though....
I
looked as though the FW still thought it was a 4.0 although 4.1 was installed
allready. And since I had only one license on 4.0 that would have been the
problem.
Well,
it all works just fine now...

kind of license do you have for the Management ? It seems you have the 1 node
license
not
the unlimited version.

I keep getting the following error when I stop
the firewall:
Too many FireWall Modules (#) in Network
Objects: License is only for 1
Condition is as follows.
I have an FW and MGMT module on one system and an
FW on another. The FW cannot connect to the MGMT module. (Both are 4.1 sp5).
Could the above error have something to do with it? or should I look at
something else. I've found a sollutions at checkpoint to avoid above
senario, but haven't tested is yet (still looking for my 4.0 license). But I
have tried everything else with the fw putlic command....
Anyone have any idea?
