[FW-1] SecuRemote 4.1 SP5 (build 4199)
Has anyone tried this build of SecuRemote?
It claims to be XP compatible, but I'm having problems with it. I've
installed it on a laptop that is running Windows XP Professional. The laptop
has an ethernet interface (which I use at home to go through the main family
machine that does the dial-up service) and a built-in modem.
SR works fine through the ethernet interface but does not work properly when
I try to use it with the built-in modem and a dial-up connection.
SR successfully gets the firewall topology but any attempt to connect to a
system that is behind the firewall does NOT result in SR prompting for my
username and password. I've tried binding SR to just the dialup adapter and
also to all network adapters, but it doesn't make any difference.
The event logs contain this information:

When I go to shut the laptop down, I get these messages:

As I understand it, the build numbers mentioned at the start of the logging
are for various Windows build. 2600 should be Windows XP's build number and
I think that 2195 is Windows 2000.
Any suggestions?
