[FW-1] "/dev/fw0" not found errors

If anyone experienced similar problem and has some solution(instead of reinstall FW), please share with us. Your time is appreciated.

Does anyone have experience on how to make FW recognize its the /dev/fw0 device ?For some reason, one of our CP 4.1 sp4 firewall can't be loaded after we manually changed the interface name on Management stations instead of snmp get in the policy GUI. The error messages seems related to the /etc/rc2.d/S00fw1bootd script when we rebootd.

Here is the error messages.

FW_BOOT_DIR undefined. Using /etc/fw.boot
FW-1: Restarting bootd: fwbootd: open: No such file or directory
FW-1: Autopushing over remaining network interface drivers
FW-1: Autopushing over qfe
ap: ioctl failed: Invalid argument
FW-1: qfe autopush failed: resetting ...
Usage:
ap -a drv minor last-minor mod [mod ...]

add:    last-minor = 0 means one and not range
                minor = -1 means all

        ap -r drv minor

remove: minor should be in range (0 for all)

ap -g drv minor [ place    mod [mod ...]]

get:    minor should be in range (0 for all)
                prints arguments for add command
place specifies where to insert mod

        See also autopush(1M)

        Other options:

        ap -e drv mod
query:  check if mod is already autopushed over drv

ap -g: ioctl failed (0): No such device
FW-1: Autopushing over hme
ap: ioctl failed: Invalid argument
FW-1: hme autopush failed: resetting ...
Usage:
ap -a drv minor last-minor mod [mod ...]

I did try to apply the solution posted on phoneboy.com, but it doesn't help us : while we executed the "/usr/sbin/add_drv fw" command, we got the error message :
No such file or directory
Cannot find module (fw).
Other than FW-1 is not loaded(can't find the /dev/fw0 device), any network connection seems fine with OS network interface(Sun 2.6 Solaris). Right now, FW-1 is not loaded and our management station can't talk to this FW.

Thanks all.

Steven
