Hi, just use the command snmp_trap as configured in Policy/Properties/Log and Alert. Instead of "localhost" put in the IP of your network managment and take the SNMP alert into your rulebase. In the trap arriving at the network management you find the concerning line of the log. Btw., don't block 162/udp between your management module and the network management. Hope it helps, best regards Matthias Korg Muller writes: > Does anyone know where I can obtain information on how > to set up a Check Point SNMP trap. > > Thanks in advance, > Korg > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Find a job, post your resume. > http://careers.yahoo.com > > =============================================== > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, > please see the instructions at > http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html > =============================================== =============================================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ===============================================
