I have some strange problem
about one firewall in the cluster could not process the incoming mail at
first time they came.
I have 2 CPfw1 4.1 with stonebeat full cluster on
solaris7 to work with interscan viruswall CVP. I found that some incoming
email
that was passed through one fw in the
cluster could not send to mail server at first time they tried. And the
mail was in the
$FWDIR\spool. Fw
tried to send it 2 or 3 time in 20-30 minutes followed by smtp.conf, so they
could send it. But if the mail was
passed through another fw they could send to mail server immediately. I checked this
in the event log, if mail came to normally fw,
every thing so fine. But if it came to another fw, there were the log "Connection to final MTA failed" 2 or 3
time, so they could send
it.
