that does not sound right. Can I have your reference, becuase everything I
have read states that inbound is entering the FW, and visa versa.


And besides, you still have not answered the question at hand!

You are missing an important fundamental, yes.

Inbound = traversing up the TCP/IP stack
Outbound = traversing down the TCP/IP stack
