[FW-1] AW: [FW-1] Checkpoint 4.1 on NT

Hi,
I believe I was having the same problem, to solve it you must commented out
(with //) "#define FTP_enforce_nl" in the $fwdir/lib/base.def

regards,

Betreff: [FW-1] Checkpoint 4.1 on NT

I have just joined the discussion list, so have mercy if someone has
already asked this question.

I have a site that we need to FTP files from, I have been fighting with
this for over 1 month now and we have just realized that the reason we
cannot get into this persons ftp server is because his banner is too long.
I have just patched to SP5 of 4.1 and read in the release notes that a
'Known Limitation' is that FTP resources are not supported with FTP servers
that have extensive messages.

With all that being said, does anyone know if there is a way around this?
If I cannot get these users through the firewall, I will have to set up
some sort of proxy server outside of the firewall so they can connect to it
and then go to the FTP site. Any takers?

Thanks
