[FW-1] FYI - Forbidden Files

I think that Checkpoint made a change in the way that the
forbiddenfiles property is parsed between SP3 and SP5. As soon as
SP3 came out, I took advantage of this by putting in a line such as:

: (forbiddenfiles
: ("{ *.vbs, *.exe, *.com, *.bat, *.cmd, *.scr, *.shs, *.shb,
*.pif, *.lnk, *.wsf, *.chm, *.reg, *.mdb }")

This seemed to work fine at the time. Now I have SP5 installed and I
recently decided to start blocking Excel and Powerpoint files. So I
changed the end of that line to read:

*.mdb, *.xls, *.ppt, *.pps }")

However, in testing this, I found that it was not blocking .pps files.
Eventually I figured out that it was not blocking whatever file was
at the end of the list. Finally, I took out the space thus:

*.ppt, *.pps}")

and this worked! I'm guessing that somewhere in SP4 or SP5 they
changed the way the line was parsed, and you now need to get rid of
that space to make it work properly.

I just thought I'd share this with everyone in case they are doing the
same thing.
