Your first mistake was trying to downgrade the box, had you read the release notes you would know that there are several links that need to be manually recreated and also that there is a reason why they tell you to upgrade the boot manager along with the firewall package. I believe the only remedy you have is to back up any files that you may have, delete the existing packages leaving only those versions compatible with 3.2.1 (if that's what your bent on), and then remove the initial file so you can start reloading the box from scratch. -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Esat Oguz (Garanti Teknoloji) Sent: Thursday, October 11, 2001 9:30 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW-1] NOKIA IP650 panics continuously... Hi, We downgraded NOKIA IPSO3.4.1's boot manager to IPSO3.2.1's boot manager but the image is still IPSO3.4.1 . So the box panics continuously. However we tried to install from the beginning, the install command in the boot manager prompt turns back the ' ifconfig failed ' command. If IPSO3.2.1 exists on the box we could overcome this issue but it does not. Anyone help us ? Thanks & regards... ============================================================================ ==== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ============================================================================ ==== ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
