CheckPoint support any processor .... Solaris 8 support 64 bit modes but if you want to change to 32 bits you need to change the boot configuration.

I am runnning with Solaris 220R with two processors and 64 bits ...

I am looking into purchasing 2 new Solaris boxes to run Firewall 1 NG.

Does checkpoint support/take advantage of dual processors?
Is Solaris 8 supported in either 32 or 64 bit modes? Or is it safer to
stay at Sol.7
