Actually, there is quite a lot of excellent encryption software to choose from on Linux, e.g. www.openssh.org -- encrypted and pki authenticated rlogin/rcp equivalent allowing also simple TCP protocol tunneling -- enough for SMTP/POP3/IMAP/Terminal Server/... www.freeswan.org -- IPSEC based VPN software patch for the Linux kernel; not only this is free software, but you also get 3DES without any of the export regulations hassle. Just take care -- FreeS/WAN doesn't support DES, so if you wish to have a VPN between FreeS/WAN and Check Point, you'll need the strong encryption variant of VPN-1. You also need a static IP address for it. Regards, Hanus Adler -- One Unix to rule them all, One Resolver to find them, One IP to bring them all and in the zone to bind them. ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
