The answer is NO. There is several ways to specify port ranges. Go to > Manage > Services > New > ( Select whether TCP or UDP )> ( on the port field you can use, ex. 3400-3500, and even greater and less than signs to specify port ranges ). When you click on "New" there is also an option for "Port Range" you can use. Also, when you are in the services menu you can click on help for more examples on assigning port ranges. Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: Tice, Jeff (ADM) [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, September 19, 2001 7:28 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW1] Rulebase - Port assignment issues Hi! Wanting to allow traffic between our FW and a single computer on the Internet on specific ports ONLY. Some of the ports are in a consecutive range and some are single (ex. 1352-1356, 992,137-139). In Manage Services - New - TCP - I can only list a single port. Will I have to create a service for EACH port?
