Everything went fine, except when I fired up the Policy Editor I noticed my entire rulebase was gone. The object definitions are still there but all the rules NAT and FloodGate included are gone. Luckily this is on the management server so our firewall policy is still in place on the firewall. I checked the $FWDIR\conf\rulebases.fws file and it seems unfinished, it ends with an opening (-sign. The same goes for the $FWDIR\conf\standard.w file, it ends unfinished. My guess is this was caused by the full disk (0 bytes free) I had before I moved the logs. Now, when I choose File > Installed Policies .. in the GUI client, I can still select the rulebase on the firewall and view it entirely. My question is, how do I get to copy the rulebase on the firewall back to the management server? As you can probably guess, any help would be greatly appreciated. It doesn't happen every morning, that I wake up with an empty rulebase. :( Tom ============================================================================ ==== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ============================================================================ ==== ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
