RE: [FW1] important note to OOF autorepliers

Or why not simply create a filter that will automatically delete these
e-mails upon receipt. It probably takes less time to create such a
filter than to continue to groan about OOF replies and blasting everyone
on the list about how unhappy it makes you.

juan my .02 cents.

That is a silly thing to do. Instead of holding spammers hands, why don't you send postmaster@___.__ and email asking them to deal with the issue. Send it to abuse@  as well. Then maybe you'll cut down the number of silly people.

It is not hard to disable out of office autoreplies to Internet email addresses.   You should do it!

Why?

1. Because people who use OOF autoreplies usually use them from their corporate accounts.   This means that even if you never post to the group, it is easy to compile a list of companies running FW-1.©
