[FW1] Viewing archived FW-1 logs that are no longer on firewall ??

Hi everyone.......

In our log rotation routine, we run "fw logswitch" which starts a fresh
"fw.log" and archives the old one in the log directory of the firewall.
Then, we FTP the old logs off of the firewall and onto a different media
such as CD's. I was assuming that I could simply go to the Log Viewer and
open the old logs from the CD, but it seems that the only files it is
allowing me to open from the "File | Open" pulldown are the ones on the
firewall in the log directory. Does this mean that when I need to go back
and look at old logs that I've taken off the firewall, I'll have to ftp them
back to the log directory of the firewall to be able to see them? I sure
hope not :) Hopefully I'm missing something.

Thanks!

Robert
