Guy, Appreciate your kindly
input.
I could manage to login to the GUI
with administrator user who has the
right privilege in the fwusers file
'01010101' do I have to change it to '000fffff'?
When I tried to open one of the
configuration files (policies) from the GUI,
I couldn't find any of the files to
open but if I go to the directory from the
command prompt I can see there
are many files which I used to build them
as security policies
before.
I checked files permissions, it
is all ok.
What happened that one of my college
typed the password incorrectly
more than 5 times, and seems the DB
becomes lucked now even
after I came and managed to login
correctly.
I restarted the fwd process and even
restarted the HW.
But still cannot open the policies
files from GUI which it is already there in their
directory. I believe there should be
un-lucking mechanism to allow opening the files.

Amjad

Amjad,
Am I correct in understanding that you are not able
to log in the GUI using a user called
"Administrator" ? If that's the case, take a look at the last filed in
the $FWDIR/conf/fwmusers
file, what does it look like ? Is it 01010101 ? A fully authorized user
should have 000fffff.
Met vriendelijke groeten - Bien à vous -
