Yes. Checkpoint has some technical describtion of this topic: http://support.checkpoint.com/public/publisher.asp?id=072e8e36-bb2e-11d4-8a8 7-080020a7af00&resource=&number=2&isExternal=0 You should always be careful when manually editing this file. For importing objects from another file you should look here: http://support.checkpoint.com/public/publisher.asp?id=d3a06a1a-a315-11d4-b00 0-080020cf9075&resource=&number=3&isExternal=0 If these files have commonn objects with common names, you will get duplicate objects in the new objects.C-file (not visible in your rule base) and you must manually remove duplicate entries from the new objects.C-file. Good luck! I want to remove, edit and most important of all, import several hosts from one FW-1 to another FW-1. --- Jørn Yngve Dahl-Stamnes EDB Teamco, Trondheim [email protected] ============================================================================ ==== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ============================================================================ ==== "WorldSecure" made the following annotations on 08/11/01 14:26:15 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- [INFO] -- Virus Manager: This message was scanned with Network Associates Viper, and no viruses were detected. ============================================================================ ==== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ============================================================================ ==== ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
