NG uses a new port (CPMI) for the GUI connection. I don't remember the port exactly, but it is in the 1818x range. The version 4.1 uses port 258 (FW1_mgmt). Therefore the NG GUI will not connect to the 4.1 management module. Even if it would, it would not be compatible anyhow. If you wish to manage 4.1 firewalls with NG, you will also need to install the NG management server with backward compatibility. I installed the software on the same machine that has old clients that work fine. New client does not want to connect (asks me to check if firewall is up). Any ideas?
