RE: [FW1] A Serious Delay on Out going Mail




I had similar trouble when I turned on Trend Micro's interscan virus wall
for VPN-1.  Turned it off and the problem went away.  Still scanning on the
mail server... but taking that load off would be a great benefit.

look at the speed of DNS lookups on the exchange first, and if it is
allright, look at the fw1 log whether any connections (hint -- look for
ident / auth) are being dropped.
