Yes, you do need the enterprise license in order to setup a distributed firewall scheme. That is 1 management server and a number of IDENTICAL FW modules. Note I said IDENTICAL, meaning OS platform and version. There are other steps I'm sure you have in the config notes (snyc.conf, putkey commands etc). -----Original Message----- From: Sheik Abdulla [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2001 6:49 AM To: Fwuser Cc: [email protected] Subject: [FW1] Licences with Fullcluster and FW-1 Cluster is made between two or more firewall modules. This can be either done as SEP or MEP cluster. I think you need to buy enterprise licence. regards, sheik ([email protected]) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Fwuser" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, July 16, 2001 11:24 PM Subject: [FW1] Licences with Fullcluster and FW-1 > > Hi All, > > I'm in a trouble with Checkpoint and Fullcluster licensing.... > Whats the kind of license i need for FW-1 to work legaly in the 2 servers, > Some people explainme that could work with only one Management console FW-1, > and one FW-1 module in the other server. > > But i dont think this could works fine.... > > Anyone could confirm or not, this point? > > Thanks in advance. > > PD: sorry for my english...
