Thomas, Actually, that will only tell you what version of the Kernel patch of Solaris you have installed. What you want is 'fw ver' This will tell you what build number you are running. From there you can go to www.phoneboy.com, and search for "build number" there is a FAQ on which build numbers correspond to which SP levels of FW1. If you want to find out what patches have been applied to your Solaris build, then you are talking about a completely different ball of wax... Hope this helps, Chad . . -----Original Message----- From: Thomas M Swint [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2001 8:26 PM To: Roland Moss Cc: [email protected]; [email protected]; '[email protected]'; [email protected]; '[email protected]' Subject: Re: [FW1] SUN Server Firewall Patches It's a command: uname -a For example: (root@MySunBox)/# uname -a SunOS mxmd01 5.7 Generic_106541-12 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-4 The "106541-12" is the patch level. There may be a better way, but this works for me. Cheers, Tom.....
