Sam, I've run into the same scenario. I did verified that the registry was clean and the install.log file had no instances of checkpoint or Secureremote. But, found no solution. I've also tried to install the 4176 build, hoping it will allow me to install it and then upgrade it to 4185 but it failed as well. Does anyone else encounter this problem, if so what did you do to fix it?
