Sam,

I guess that there is left some "residue" in the registry from the previous
SecuRemote or FW-1 GUI installation. I recommend doing another
de-installatioin, then using regedit, carefully remove everything you can
find pertaining to Checkpoint products.
I am no Win2K specialist, though...on NT it would work that way.
