Yes, in a sense. Check Point's patent should cover their particular method (INSPECT, etc.) for performing "stateful inspection". But recording IP address information, and using that information to track connections can be done many different ways. There are, therefore, other firewalls that perform similar functions, and perhaps even some that have licensed "stateful inspection" from Check Point [speculation, I have not confirmed this].
