[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] RE: [FW1] SecuRemote VPN Connection Via ISP - DNS Settings
You
would put your ISP DNS settings in your network settings and setup your
Firewall/SecuRemote to do split DNS for your internal
servers.
Documentation can be found at Checkpoint's website: http://support.checkpoint.com/kb/docs/public/securemote/4_0/pdf/sr-dns.pdf

Hi
Guys,
Being fairly new
to SecuRemote, but having to implement it yesterday (if you catch my drift!!),
I have a fairly simple question. Several of my users will be accessing our
corporate network via a VPN tunnel set-up over the Internet between SecuRemote
and a Firewall-1 unit. Part of the functionality they wish to use is e-mail
via POP3. Access to this requires access to our internal DNS servers. The long
and the short of it is - in my TCP/IP settings for their network cards (going
via Cisco 775M routers), do I specify the DNS servers of their ISP(s), or ouri
nternal DNS servers? Sorry if this is a little basic, but it is really bugging
me!!
Many thanks in
advance.
Kind
regards,
Neil
