I am running eSafe CVP server. I would URGE you to find another machine to run anti virus software on. You have two choices, CVP server or SMTP relay. The relay operates independently from the firewall. The CVP server operates with the firewall. If you run either of these services on the firewall box, performance will go straight to never-never land. In the case of the CVP server, it may not work at all. The only point of access that I have for this would be the server with Firewall-1. What I'm looking for is recommendations of a software package I can use for this... if you are running one please let me know your pros AND cons of what you have..... NOTE: this is the ONLY location (on the FW-1 box) that I can run something like this on. And we do currently have a virus scanner running on every desktop.
