Hi, If you are working on FW1 on NT4, You will need to create a local.arp c:\winnt\fw\state directory of your FW, the file should contain a.b.c.d xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx where a.b.c.d is the external ip of your workstation and xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx is the mac address of your external NIC of your firewall. You will also need the following route on your FW, route add -p Internal_ip mask 255.255.255.255 DMZ_interface metric 1 route add -p External_ip mask 255.255.255.255 Internal_IP metric 1 Hope that helps.
