You must have originally made a change to the ifdev file and when it upgraded, it overwrote the file. Edit the $FWDIR/boot/ifdev file and add a line for ge. ge accept Reboot. -----Original Message----- From: Roman Serbski [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, June 17, 2001 7:56 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW1] need URGENT help with FW-1(NIC error) Good day all! PLZ I need help with CheckPoint. I use Solaris 5.7 with four network cards (ge0, ge1, hme0, hme1) and CheckPoint FW-1 4.1. Everything was fine. Yesterday I successfully applied Service Pack 3. But after rebooting I got this error: FW-1: i/f ge00 (ge0) is not found in table (80206910) WARNING: this interface is not monitored by FireWall-1 FW-1 IP: FW-1 has a problem registering an interface configuration command (80206910) - blocked After that system blocked. I can just press Ctrl-C and enter to SINGLE USER MODE with read-only rights, so I can change nothing. I've just started with Solaris/Checkpoint configuration so please help me. Is this was caused by Solaris (so it can't determine NICs) or by Checkpoint? Thank you very much! Looking forward to hear from you! ---- Ciao, Roman Serbski mailto:[email protected] ============================================================================ ==== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ============================================================================ ==== ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
