[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] RE: [FW1] [FW-1] Error msg using InstallU
I made the suggestion to the Checkpoint tech to try 'pkgadd', but he said that since I was doing a standalone install on one box, it wasn't the recommended way to do it. Apparently the problem I'm having is not very common because he can't seem to find references to the error message I'm getting in his database. He has escalated my issue and I'm supposed to be hearing from a Level II engineer sometime today. Thanks for your insight and let me know if you think of anything else. I'm not sure what your problem may be then. Essentially it does sound like a version problem but if your 100% sure. Why not do the installation manually using the pkgadd command? -- Juan Concepcion Network Security Consultant CCSA/CCSE Certified [email protected] On 2001.06.14 08:59 Robert Looney wrote: > Juan, > > What you just mentioned is the first thing the Checkpoint technician > said, > and yes, I was initially using a v4.1.2 CD, so I got a v4.1 CD from my > reseller, but this problem is the same with it as well. > > Out of curiosity, did you see my message posted on the fw-1 mailinglist > itself?
