[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] RE: [FW1] purpose of inspect language ?
Inspect is the language in which the security policy is written in and later compiled to be used by the Inspect engine of CheckPoint. It is very C like and you can modify rules directly into the Inspect script or you can write your own. In some of the older versions of CheckPoint that was the way to go. There are some references on Inspect available from CP, although I'm not aware of CP offering any in-depth instruction in Inspect. If you go to Policy -> View you can look at the code. Hope that helps. Cheers.
