Elliot, I'd be really surprised if you can get Checkpoint 4.1 to work on Redhat 7.1, since 7.1 uses the new 2.4 Linux kernel. You'll have better luck with using Redhat 7.0 which still has the 2.2 Kernel. Make sure you get 4.1 sp3. Sorry, I don't have a good doc link.
