If you are running on NT, FW-1 picks the service name from the WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\services file, which lists known ports and services. In the file that comes with the NT installation, you will find both SMTP and MAIL defined for the service on port 25. Why FW-1 picks one here and one there, I don't know. I see the same thing with DNS-traffic.
