Laurence, This is the compaq insight manager agents that are polling to discover other compaq devices on your network. If you point a java enabled browser towards port 2301 ( http://yourserver:2301 ) of your server you can turn these broadcasts off. You must login as a priviliged user first. If you haven't changed the default passwords, a privilged user is administrator with password administrator. This is described in the readme file of the agents, and you're adviced to change the default passwords during the installation.
