You have to use static NAT if you want people to access your <mymachine> using ftp.

if you are using static NAT , so all your internal hosts
are NATTED behind the ext interface or the firewall..

if you open a rule that says  , ,

any :  mymachine : ftp : accept.

and mymachine is nattted would people be able to get in?

or would i have to use static NAT
