[FW1] FW1 Under Linux

I have a Firewall on Linux 2.2.19 and I am having a problem with the arp
cache.

The interface that is connected to the Internet via a Cisco router has over
950 entries in the arp cache. The firewall looks to be very slow possibly
because it is doing arp cache lookups.

Does anyone know of a setting that can make either the arp cache bigger, or
since there is only one route to the Internet to just send the packets to
the Cisco router and not perform an arp cache lookup.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan
