Make sure you have an entry in /etc/netmasks like 100.100.164.0 255.255.252.0. The default netmask is 24 bits and this will specify the correct mask. May I know what is the syntax to add in route entry in solaris with this network "100.100.164.0 255.255.252.0" I use this command "route add -net 100.100.164.0 100.100.164.1" it will add the entry 100.100.164.0/24 not /22 but if I use route add -net 100.100.164.0 255.255.252.0 100.100.164.1 it prompt me 255.255.252.0 is unreacheable?
