[FW1] Problem with data corruption

Hi All,

I'm experiencing data corruption with ftp/http data download
of large files(30MB +). The size is alright but gunzip and tar
fails saying wrong crc or checksum.

It's only a problem with download from Internet sites.
We use NAT to Internet.

We have an Extranet to partners and ftp from them is fine.
In fact we have tested ftp download from partners
where they have downloaded the files we needed from Internet.
There is no NAT to partners and it's on a separate interface.

I have tried several ftp clients on both Unix and PC
and the result is the same. If I lower the mtu on
a client to 1000bytes, there is no corruption.

Anyone experienced anything like this before?
Any idea where to start looking?
I'm thinking of capturing the traffic and but it's a tedious job
to find errors in such huge downloads.

FW-1 4.1 SP3 on a Sun220R Solaris 7/32bit.

Thanks in advance,

Rolf
