[FW1] in.asmtpd doesn't work

Hi,


    I set up the smtp security server on a PDS2100 box running small office.
However when I telnet to it on port 25, it starts in.asmtpd and the
connection is established but it seems to remain in this state for ever. No
smtp commands work. The ouptput of 'top' shows in.asmtpd running with high
priority and it keeps changing its pid. I don't know if this is 'normal'
behaviour. There is nothing else that happens. No log file is there for it.
Has anyone experienced it before.
