The upgrade program will copy all the $FWDIR/log files also... If you have tons of logs, this will force the upgrade process to take a long time.. If you don't have much space, it could cause the system to crash or the upgrade process to crash. Workaround for this is to copy your log files temporarily to another directory before beginning the upgrade process...
