RE: [FW1] Firewall-1 sync problems

Greets...

>fwd: Peer (10.10.10.70) denies access for command sync
>fwd: Authentication with 10.10.10.70 for command sync failed
>what does this mean

Looks like your secret key is not set or didn't take properly for the
sync...

Remember that you have to do an "fw putkey <peer_fw_ip>" on each system to
set a password between them...
..also make sure your $FWDIR/conf/sync.conf files are set properly...

So if you are using the following configs:

   [fw1](sync-nic:10.10.10.70)...sync_network...(10.10.10.80:sync-nic)[fw2]

on fw1 do:

fwstop
$FWDIR/bin/fw putkey 10.10.10.80
(enter a password)

on fw2 do:

fwstop
$FWDIR/bin/fw putkey 10.10.10.70
(enter same password)

then do an 'fwstart' on each firewall for things to start working...

If you still see errors try doing the putkeys without stopping the firewall
(i.e. don't do an fwstop), just do the putkey, then fwstop, then fwstart...
