If you're using NAT between the two there really is nothing
you can do. NT Domain communication uses IP addresses in the
datagram. Any NAT (even, surprisingly, the NAT that is built into
Windows 2000) breaks it completely. WINS works just fine but security
and authentication to DC's doesn't work at all. If anyone knows anything
differently, please let me know as well. We've been looking for a
solution to this (even working with Microsoft on it... sigh) for about a year
now.
