RE: [FW1] Installation Problems

Title: Installation Problems
Did you transfer all the policy files as well?  These are all the .W files in the $FWDIR/conf directory.  You could probably get away with copying over your rulebase .W and .pf files, as well as the rulebases.fws file, but just to be sure; copy the .W files over, and run the command fw m -g *.W in that directory.  This will rebuild your rulebases.fws file.  Reinstall this policy.
What does 'fw stat' show?

Subject: [FW1] Installation Problems

Hie all the gurus
I have a small almost silly problem but it has stopped the commissioning of a major project.
I want to transfer firewal-1 v4.0 from an old less powerful NT4.0 box to a new NT4.0 powerful box using the same license . I have installed firewall-1v4.0 on the new server successifuly and it has accepted the license which is running on the old box. I have transferred all the objects from the old box to the new box and installed a policy. The problem now is that from the logview of the new box I don't see any traffic going in or out all I see are the udp sessions(nbname, nbsession, rip etc) which are being dropped and rejected.

What is the problem?

Thank you inadvance
