Make sure that both versions have similar encryption levels, as this could cause problems. If they are different, you may need to edit $FWDIR\conf\control.map to allow the connections without encryption. (Which is obviously not the best scenario, but it works). -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Larry Pingree Sr. Security Consultant Email: [email protected] SiegeWorks WebSite: http://www.siegeworks.com/ Enterprise Support, Security Consulting and Training -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ----- Original Message ----- From: gf b <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 20, 2001 9:52 AM Subject: [FW1] problems with uploading policies in distributed firewall set up - Gabriel > > Hi there, > > I've set up a distributed installation of fw1 4.1 sp3, with one management > station and two firewall stations.
