RE: [FW1] GUI Clients!

On another note, is there any way to add a range of addresses to the GUI client, or possibly an address that would allow all IPs for say some temporary maintenance mode you go into as a company (of course this would be a bad idea); or maybe even a certain SR user if you weren't using IP NAT pool?  I am assuming none of this is possible because I have have never seen it before, but hope they are considering these options in NG, as I have not played with the beta yet.....

Kosta,

Just run cpconfig and add the IP of the GUI client you want to add.

Subject: [FW1] GUI Clients!

Hello all!!!

I am wondering what is the exact process in order to add a Management Client. I tried to implement it following the process, as it is shown below, but with no success:

  1. In Checkpoint Configuration I added the IP of the client.
  2. Since it didn't work at once, I restarted the service of the Firewall and it still denied to work.

Could you please provide me of the exact steps to implement such a task and inform me if there is any "bug" on it, requiring for example a whole restart or whatever.

Thanks in advance,

Kostas
