Adolfo: Did you remember to allow VRRP traffic between your two FWs? If you do not allow VRRP traffic between the two FWs then both FWs could potentially become the master. Hope that this helps. |--------+------------------------> | | "Cadillo, | | | Adolfo" | | | <ACadillo@B2BG| | | ALAXY.com> | | | | | | 04/12/2001 | | | 08:58 AM | | | | |--------+------------------------> >----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | To: [email protected] | | cc: (bcc: James E Clukey/Rush/RSH) | | Subject: [FW1] VRRPmc | >----------------------------------------------------------------------------| I setup a VRRP configuration using two Nokia IP440's. I created the VRRPmc configuration and than the cluster configuration. A weird problem arose, when I went to our websites behind this redundant solution I noticed that it went thru one firewall but when I went back to the same website it bounced me thru the other firewall. I don't think VRRP is working to well. Do I need to turn IGMP on even though both firewall external interfaces reside on the same switch?? Why could I be getting these routing problems? I also noticed that the state tables were not syncing. It tried to establish a sync but timed out.
