[FW1] Configuration in the browser for NAT clients behind Firewall-1

Hi,

Could some one kindly help me out with this? We have a setup which uses a
Windows NT (4.0) machine with 02 NICs and NAT (Hide mode) and the internal
network users wish to access the Web. What is the configuration required on
the clients (Windows 9x machines running IE) inaddition to adding the IP
address of the Checkpoint gateway (in the Internet Options-Proxy address)?
Does it use standard port number 80 or is it someother port?? I have tried
(unsuccessfully) most probable combination of ports in the client browser
configuration (IE). The browser indicates a "Server nort found or DNS
error". I am also unable to ping any host beyond the router that is only
next (external and connected to my ISP) to this gateway. The router and my
NT machine (running the firewall) have clear static routing table entries
advertising the external IP address of the gateway used to hide the internal
network.

Thanks in advance,
Felix
