But your point is well taken... it is a bad practice.

I can see it happening though.   ie. before someone is finished setting up
their firewall, they go to the checkpoint web page to create license keys,
or windows web page to download service packs.

Best practise:  
-delete unused services
-single purpose all your servers.  including firewalls.
